You never even responded to that part, you just glossed over it and ignored it.This fact is the teacher is a retard.
Yes, I didn't reply to the part, because it has been covered a lot before. I thought it was pointless to continue the argument as our positions were stated multiple times. I don't view the teacher's action as dumb to the degree that Nibedicus seems to, however I have stated that it was a bad idea to include the part about God as well. He sees the fault more in the camp of the teacher, I see it more in the camp of the parents and perhaps the child, particularly because the account of the child is completely different from anyone else's.
I also view the story, and particularly the media reaction (by fringe right-wing and Christian media outlets in particular) as further evidence of the persecution complex that some Christians have that is often collected under the banner of "War on Christianity".
And regardless of our different views we are both satisfied with the investigation and reaction of the school board.

There was not much media reaction. The liberal media did not even cover it, nor did Fox who is becoming more liberal.
Yeah, it was fringe right wing and Christian media, like I said.
Most of the more professional outlets (in this case perhaps even including Fox News) did not really bother as much with it, cause the story was blown out of proportion and it was pretty obvious from the start. However those outlets with an agenda really enjoyed having this young girl testify (even though her testimony was false), because it played into their narrative that Christianity is under attack in the US, which it is not.
This little girl has been ridiculed and bullied by some of her so-called "friends" because she stood up for her beliefs. Some of them have even told her to kill herself. The atheist b**** teacher has probably ruined this kid's childhood and I hope her ass burns in Hell for it. The little girl isn't backing down regardless:
Hopefully, this brave girl's actions will inspire Christians everywhere. 👆

The girl in question chose to lie to her mother about her assignment and what her teacher said to her, and then to repeat that lie at a school board meeting, and to anyone who would listen.
Her classmates did the right thing in coming forward and telling the truth so the teacher, who herself is a Christian, would not be punished for something that did not happen.
If that little girl now finds herself ostracized, so be it. She chose the behavior, so she chose the consequences.

Since when does being a lying little shit translate to bravery?
If she is getting ridiculed over this good, maybe next time she decides to lie she will think twice. Remember this girl is in 7th grade, she's not 7 years old. Which means her days of making up shit should be long gone.
You also call the teacher an atheist despite the fact it's been pointed out numerous times she is not.
Also the comments on that article are just pathetic. Just a bunch of religious people stroking each others pole's. Some of the more classic comments are stuff like this from this little Einstein:
-I'm 100% standby Jordan. she is a brave soul!!! i received an F on biology for standing up to critical thinking on man derives from ape when i was in ninth grader back in 1962. that's how far back these evolutionist morons tearing down the youth critical thinking.
Oh wow, this person sure doesn't look foolish calling others morons.
Here is another crazy person:
-LIBS at work,WE HAVE THE LORD WHAT DO ATHISTS HAVE????
People seriously think stuff like this, it makes them feel better to think an atheist has something missing from their life. Why? Because in reality they are the ones that probably have the holes in their life, not the atheists.

I don't think she should be punished for the bad morals that are being taught to her at home, though, after all she's just a kid and kids are so very influenced.

This persecution complex is very humorous. And even more so when it's being pointed out that the innocent christian girl is a liar.I don't think she should be punished for the bad morals that are being taught to her at home, though, after all she's just a kid and kids are so very influenced.
🙄
Yeah, sure. That little girl is lying... Riiiiight. Keep telling yourself that, moron. I'll take the word on an innocent Christian girl over a lying atheist b**** any day. 👆

Maybe she just has a distorted vision of what happened, usually under high tension and emotion things get fuzzy and hard to recall correctly and subconscious thoughts take over. Like christian persecution being a thing and atheist trying to steal her soul, no wonder she was confused. I still choke it up to bad morals being taught to her at home.

@Star: Blocking me is the highest form of flattery, thank you.

Why do you keep calling the teacher atheist when it isn't true?
It's as if you feel only atheists could lie or treat a child badly.
