Into the Badlands

All of AMC's shows (at least the ones I have watched in recent times) seem to be jumping on the Wokeness bandwagon to varying degrees. Now, obviously, these kinds of things aren't inherently bad. It's all about how you approach it. Badlands, for example, is in fact a very diverse show, when it comes to cast etc. But you tend not to think about it, because it is normally done quite organically. But when they handle these topics in such a heavy-handed fashion (which seems to be happening more and more), to the point where it can screw with the actual story narrative in some of these shows, it becomes irritating.

In this case, it's irritating because Gaius has never been anything but loyal and devoted to her. Yet she treats him like a walking dildo that can fight.

No talk about last show?

Spoiler:
How powerful is gifted Widow?? Pilgrim never did any of that telekinetic shite.

He did though. He

Spoiler:
used TK to catch and break Sunny's sister's weapon in the previous episode. And Widow was in full-on Mama Bear Bloodlust Mode. And Pilgrim seemed to focus his Gift more into his physical power. And he does have the best strength feats of any character at this point. No one else has shown the ability to consistently and casually bust through walls and stuff like he has. Though Sunny's Gift is still the most BS. Apparently his can even resurrect him lol.

Anyway, remember the days when a single untrained Dark One could stomp a Baron and retinue, and not get wrecked like random fodder instead, and when you needed more than a 30-second pep talk from KFC- er, I mean MK to use your Gift?

i watched the final season over the past 5 days... i enjoyed it a loy.. however i have qualms over the last episode..

why didn't nathaniel kill the witch??? the ending made no sense either

PIS because they were hoping for another season to turn it into a longer plot line lol.

He didn't even need to get close. Could have just shot her with one of the darts in his metal hand.

Also, gotta love how a gun that's been buried in the dirt for 500 years just works straight away.

So, I've been seeing rumours floating around different sites over the last week or so that suggest that Netflix might be looking to do what they've done with a few other shows that got cancelled recently (like Lucifer) and grab up the show for a 4th season. I haven't seen anything official yet though, so it might just be people jumping the gun.
