Rank the Villainous Rogues Galleries

Bad guys with the best collection of good guys (and even other bad guys) that stand against them?
Even counting characters like Thanos and Darkseid who literally have their whole Universe's heroic pantheons against them, who would be their more personal foils?

The Green Lantern's Rogues and New Gods are pretty diverse.

Not sure i know what you mean.

To use Thanos and DS as examples, one has Orion, Mr. Miracle & Barda, Superman...one has Adam Warlock, Silver Surfer, Star Lord.
Dr. Doom has Reed Richards of course, and Iron Man, Mephisto...

The Green Lanterns have the Black Lantern, which is led by Nekron. Black Hand is Nekron's underling.

New Gods have Darkseid to contend with. Then the New Gods including Darkseid have have the old Gods.

You...arent getting this.
Thanks though, for at least giving it a shot.

Hm... Magneto has the X-men *and* Red Skull.

The Wrecking Crew? They fight, like, *everyone* ^^

Thinking of DC's villains, aside from the likes of Darkseid, I'm hard pressed to think of ones with as much crossover.

Doomsday fought several incarnations of the Justice League, the GLC and New Gods. That's not bad imo.

I don't get you? I give you the Lanterns core main enemy, the leader of the Black Lanterns, Nekron with his underling Black Hand.

While the New Gods have Darkseid and his crew which are also New Gods, but sometimes team up to take on resurrect Old Gods from the Source Wall.

What am i missing? Am actually curious though.

Good ones.
I would love to see an actual big time Magneto/Red Skull war. Lord knows Marvel does events every 3 months, this one would have potential.

I'm drawing kind of a blank on DC, too.

Lex Luthor?

Was thinking that, but wasnt sure.

For DC:

Deathstroke the Terminator. Teen Titans foe, then JL.

Dr Light. Teen Titans, again.

Amazo. For a guy who adapts to the powers you throw at him, throwing,.....more opponents seems conter-intuitive.

Deathstroke's not a bad choice. He has the Titans in general, Beast Boy in particular, Batman, the JL, as you said.
Question, did he and Geo Force ever really go at it over the whole Terra thing? I really cant recall.

Kingpin has Spider-man and Daredevil and Black Cat and rival crime figures like Silvermane.

Yes, they did! Geoforce is a Deathstroke 'rogue.'

Nightwing is a major rival of his.

Both Ravager and Jericho are major reoccurring 'foes' to him.

Cassandra Cain and him fought repeatedly.

Black Canary/the Birds of Prey had a minor thing too.

Very good call, he's a DC villain with a very impressive gallery of opponents.

Ooooh, here's a thought: Mordru.

Modern, he's an enemy of Dr. Fate and the JSA. Future, the Legion of Superheroes, especially the White Witch, and Sorcerer's world. And originally, he came from Gemworld and fought Amethyst.

Two major teams, two planets of people, three major personal foes.

Lex... he fights a fair number, but he only puts much focus into Superman, Batman, and Super family members like Steel. There's not much in the way of standing relations with other characters, is there?

Kinda like how tons of characters fight the Batrogues like Joker, Riddler, etc., but just as one-off events without too deep of connections.

He also has a thing for Flashes.

Prometheus would be another.

Right, especially Kid Flashes.

Quite a well-used villain.

Prometheus would be another.

Mm, not really any more than any other JLA team fighters, though.

You are doing it backwards man. Instead of using a hero as your main focus use a villain.

Hero: Spiderman
Rogue Gallery: Killer Croc, Doctor Octopus, Sand Man, Venom, Carnage.

Villain: Thanos
Rogue Gallery: Adam Warlock, Silver Surfer, Black Bolt, Star Lord.

The Thanos example is what the OP is looking for not the Spiderman

That's basically what lead to the AXIS event.

Anti-Monitor - Every DC hero (and most villains as well) ever. 😛

Thanks for doing that. 👆
