Marvel has 2 of the longest female runs of all time. Patsy Walker and Milly the Model. Wonder Woman comes in 2nd and 1st.

WWs series success is tied into her value as a property in other areas. She sells, just not alwAys as a comic. Hence her...interesting publishing history/reboots.
But DC will keep her in the public eye.

It's not just woman in comic books, but it's ALL comic books characters. It's becoming more rare for a series to go past issue 10-12. In Marvel if they don't have the X-Men, Avengers, etc in their name most fail. Even Hulk has been retooled and rebooted what? 3-4 times in the past few years same for Fantastic Four.

Ha, yeah, WW stands out fir being female though.
