Rotj Luke and Vader vs. Sidious

What would have happened if Luke somehow converted Vader to the light side on their way to the death star and they fought the Emperor together?

Luke wouldn't be much help tbh. He'd get TK KO'd pretty easily IMO (unless Vader can protect him), then it's just Sidious vs Vader. And we all know Vader wins that if it goes to Sabers 😉

Luke crushed Vader so please back up this assertion that he'd be of no help when he's also quicker than Vader is.

👆 If Vader's exerting energy trying to save Luke from death, he's going to be at an even heavier disadvantage.

With Vader's new feats I muse he can contend with Palpatine in similar style to Revan and Vitiate, but it's still going to be a definite win for Palpatine.

Well, from what we've seen, Sidious should win quite convincingly. Luke is just outclassed in every aspect other than strength.

That being said, wasn't there a Force Vision where Luke/Vader together cut down the Emperor?

That is indeed just the Emperor bullshitting Mara Jade with the last command.

I do not think the Skywalkers could've overcome Sidious in a straight fight, as the Vader/ROTJ Luke team is inferior to the DE Luke/Leia team in Dark Empire.
