Spider-Man already fought Creed and couldn't do shit to him... that's when Creed was actually written with his powers as we know him today.

Creed is too strong, too durable, heals in moments and his claws can penetrate through Fisk's skull with ease.

Sabretooth from his first appearances, back when he wasn't even a mutant, is the only version that can lose here.

😂

Yeah, right. But he can tank Parker's best kick just fine 👆

scans of the Spider-Man Creed fight

Spider-Man has taken blows FAR outside Creeds strength level and yet KP has hurt him. So the faulty logic goes both ways. But as Saint pointed out is Creed wins due to cutting ability. If this was more a h2h fight without claws then it would be more even.

You've been a member for years, you should know where to look.

No, you just don't read comics.

Creed fights guys out of Kingpins strength class. Creed took a barrage of punches from Sasquatch like a champ. He even managed to drop Walter with a shovel iirc.

Though some people said that was adamantium Creed. Not sure on that one though.

It was Weapon X Creed, he got the upgrade in 2002 and Sabretooth Open Season was in 2004

When did he loose the adamantium?

Technically Weapon X was his second stint with adamantium. Apocalypse gave it him originally, then took it away and gave it to Wolverine. Then Weapon X gave it to him and he still is supposed to have it.

Key word: supposed.

He lost it after M-Day, apparently. I have no idea what Marvel editors are getting paid for.

Officially I don't think they did take it away, but from recent showings it certainly seems like it. As you said after M-Day he lost a lot of luster.

They never stated it, true.

Wolverine wasn't surprised one bit when he inspected the corpse of Creed's clone (he thought it was the original Tooth); it had no adamantium.

Anyway, he obviously doesn't need adamantium for Kingpin.

It wouldn't be more even because one outclasses the other in every way that matters.

Also let's be honest, Spider-man holds back a great deal when fighting 'normal' humans like Fisk, and when he took the kid gloves off in Back In Black it was a non fight. He absolutely embarrassed Fisk while pointing out his lack of actual power.

Creed would not be holding back and something similar would happen.

While this is true

Spiderman actually never overpowered Fisk there, he overwhelmed him with speed. And since even classic Spiderman has done that, makes you wonder he he didn't use it more often on his enemies. Also, Spider man using his speed has taken out guys even stronger than him - though I AM NOT insinuating Kingpin is stronger . And its worth mentioning that Spiderman was supposed to be twice his normal level during the time of Back- In Black due to the Queen and Other mutations. In fact, after the Other mutation, while he got stomped on by Lizard normally, with the Other power he easily beat Connors. So that is not a good exaple

JMS actually did a big disservice to Kingpin in that story, though it was Bendis who started it and Brubaker who continued it. Classic Kingpin practically no-selled blows from low-level superhumans. Saying he has no power is total bullshit.
