Where is Luke in TFA?

Where do you think Luke is in the new movie? Why isn't he in the trailers or anything? Theories?

We haven't had any new forums in a few years.

1. Not enough interest. We get maybe 10 posts per day about the new movies here in the Star Wars forums.

2. Raz, the admin, hasn't been around to make changes. He will show up every couple of years and promise change, but then he never does it.

I know JJ raised the question who is Luke Skywalker but Luke has had an identity set for him in the prequels, I think people are more concerned about what has become of Luke. What has he gained or lost over the past 30 years between ROTJ and The Force Awakens?

How was it that Finn is wielding Luke's lightsaber and not Rey? Will Finn give her the lightsaber at some point in his battle with Kylo Ren or will he use it for the entire time?
