Syrian refugees begin to arrive in Canada

It's heartwarming to see these people, after having been through hell for the past few years, finally find some solace, and it's especially great to see Trudeau sending a message by meeting the first plane-load in person. Hopefully them, and the rest of the incoming refugees, will be able to integrate with Canadian society without facing too much of a struggle.

I graciously gave some refugee's permission to sleep in our local parks. Just waiting for my thank you card in the mail.

It's not so bad, it was 60 degree's in Chicago over the weekend...in mid December. It is 55 now, so they can enjoy this absurdly warm weather that is probably in no way a bad environmental sign. We've had eerily warm winters here the past couple of years.

I'm most likely the only person here to let anyone from the Middle East stay in their home. Pretty much everyone else is all talk.

Yeah see I could never do that. Not just with Middle Eastern people, but anyone. I don't like strangers in my house.
