Hmmm lots of voice user stuff in the latest Rogue Trailer.... dunno if I like that. So far it seemed like a war movie in space.

Is this more or less the same crystal from the old Splinter of the Mind's Eye story?

That type of crystal is used to power the Death Star's laser I believe (as well as lightsabers).

Or maybe the crystal necklace thing is just a Tragic Keepsake for the main character, and that it's a crystal is just incidental.

Or maybe she's actually a Ranger waiting to unlock her inner Power and will use the crystal to activate her Zord.
