Absolute Power Corrupts Cops Absolutely

A year ago, California Sheriff's Jose Ruiz and Albert Murade chased "known gang member" Noel Aguilar, and attempted to arrest him for riding his bike with headphones on. Their claim was he pulled out a gun and shot Murade during the arrest, which is why both officers shot him multiple times. A cops word is law usually. But a year later, video proof of the truth comes out.

While both men have him pinned on the ground, Ruiz accidentally shoots his partner Murade(an article explains how the department's new firearms are confusing and very sensitive, and accidental discharges have gone up 500% since getting them). So instead of declaring it a misfire, leaving cuffs on him and getting his partner medical attention, they decide to blame it on Aguilar, the guy pinned beneath both of them with no weapons on his person at all. After claiming he didn't shoot them, Ruiz points his gun at Aguilar. Then, he shoots him in the stomach. Murade shoots Aguilar multiple times in the back, all from point blank range.

Let's get rid of cops and self police, problem solved.

Cops don't have absolute power. This is a tragic thing that has happened and the cops are scumbags that deserve to fry.

We won't see as much outrage over this though, and I think we all know why.

LAPD still grimy as **** it seems.

It's absolutely absolute.

Why aren't you outraged?

Why aren't you outraged?

I never said I wasn't, just that we wouldn't see as high a level of outrage from society/the media/whatever.

Old news, this happened a year ago.
