Irrelevant. Had Harrison Ford refused to cast for RotJ, would he still have been rescued from carbonite? Because that possibility is allegedly why they put him in there. Does this mean the opening of RotJ is non-canon?

There is also a quote that states Windu's blades moved 'like a blur, faster than the eye could see' when he was submerged in Vaapad. Yet, during his fight against Sidious, we see nothing like that.

Yep, but the movies override that description. It doesn't override the description of Bane, because he isn't in the movies. 😈
