Sorry bro but this has been known since 2013.....It was made public in 2013 that Obama was funding ISIS against Assad I been saying that since 2013.

So in other words we gave guns to crazy religious nutjobs just so they'd take out someone we viewed as an enemy. Yep, pretty much sums up America these days.

It's very very hard to believe that the government had no idea as to the type of people that were in ISIS. So either they were grossly incompetent or just didn't care. I'm trying to decide now which of those I'd prefer.

America has an unfortunate history of arming people/groups who then turn out to be its enemies later on down the road.

If this is true, then it's just another similarity in the ever growing similarities that Obama has with Reagan.

It'd be nice to have a president who actually learned from past mistakes. What, no history classes at Harvard? Here I was thinking it was a good school.

Obama sealed all his school reocrds, grades, hidden all of his papers.

We do know mostly that he was radical in college because of his writings in his book about seeking out people like him in school who were far left bro progressives. We also know his father was a communist and he wrote a book about how much he admired his father, even though he only met him twice.

This isn't news. It was posted several years ago at the beginning of the conflict that America was arming and funding numerous groups fighting Assad. Many of these groups merged to become ISIS. Member of the FSA defected to ISIS with weapons and money supplied both directly from the US and other western nations as well as indirectly through Saudi Arabia, Qatar and other Sunni gulf states.

You're starting to see western alliances shift in the region though as within a decade Saudi Arabia will be broke as western nations end their reliance on Saudi oil. And that's why Iran are moving into the good books as they are Shia. Looks like the shift will accelerate now with the tensions between Saudi Arabia and Iran.

I agree Obama arming ISIS and then being unable to defeat them is pretty embarrassing.

That's what happens when you're not really trying to defeat them. Instability and turmoil in the middle east isn't an unfortunate byproduct. It's the purpose. You've got oil companies extracting millions of barrels and paying no revenues on it because the Iraq government is too weak to enforce it. Same in Libya.
