Swiss General tells people to Arm themselves

That a civil war is coming in Europe.

http://www.thetruthaboutguns.com/2016/01/robert-farago/swiss-general-to-citizens-arm-yourselves-europes-on-the-verge-of-civil-war/

"The Lieutenant-General’s warning echoes that of Rear Admiral Chris Parry in 2006, when he said that the combination of immigration and Islam would cause “a civilization collapse on a par with the fall of the Roman Empire"

Well he sounds deranged.

Just goes to show, every country has some.

Pretty obvious what is happening in Europe. When civil war does break out will everyone here says "gee I never thought this could happen?" Even though the writing is on the wall.

Yeah somehow I just don't see that happening.

Well when you keep getting bombed and taking in more people. It's bound to happen. Unless you want to be taken over and just don't care? I know the liberal sense of things is to live in happy land and happy thoughts and think the best. But That is not the way the world works.

Well the UK government is actually being really shitty and not helping refugees enough.

To use the UK as an example- it's the same reactionary xenophobic stuff people have been saying since forever. And it's wrong.

In the 50's and 60's when people came to the UK following the break up of the Empire, they were mainly from the Indian Subcontinent and the Caribbean. And tons of British people complained and thought it was the terrible death of British culture and that they were being taken over or whatever crap they wanted to spout that week.

And lo and behold, the world didn't end.

Is it true there are 85 sharia courts in the UK?

https://fullfact.org/law/uk_sharia_courts-39429

Apparently a report in 2009 said roughly 85 Shariah Councils but as the link says these aren't actual legal courts or anything, mainly groups that deal with religious matters within a community.

Nothing in the way of actual laws or anything, it's all still subject to actual English law.

I apparently some people are worried about how important said councils might be seen within the religious community, as their leadership role might be taken very seriously by some people.

But the first time this was talked about was 6 years ago and then the same facts have been brought up again more recently, so doesn't look like whatever their role is within their community has caused a huge ongoing problem or anything, as otherwise there would be new information or events or whatnot.

Ok thanks!

Just to be clear this is the same UK that complained about Trump wanting to ban all Muslims and began a petition to bar him from the country? One would think they'd be welcoming everyone with open arms and treating them awesomely. You see because when you are upset a person wants to ban people the correct course of action is to try to just ban that person instead. It is the only logical thing to do. It's the same reason I get upset at racist people by hurling racial slurs at them.

Yea that was Cameron who said that.

What a total hypocrisy

Anyone who compares what is happening in Europe right now to the collapse of the Roman Empire is a retard.

😂

The Trump thing was because people argued what he said could be seen as hate speech. And also, I'm pretty sure, most people signed because it was funny to do so.

You know I thought the petition to get rid of him was just an empty threat but no:

Just..yeah. Do they not realize this actually makes them look bad?

Okay do they banish anyone who already lives there for hate speech? Is this a new thing that doesn't exist in the UK and they are afraid Trump will bring some hate speech there?

Basically the system is that if enough people sign a petition on that government site it has to be discussed by parliament

And I dunno if it makes anyone look bad other than Trump.

I hope they do ban him, that way when he is president we can cut ties with Britian. We don't need to be friends with them when their leader is a hypocritical pos. We left Britian for things like this, better to cut ties once and for all. They can handle their own affairs from now on without US.

They are the ones trying to ban a guy from their country over something he said. Which I'm sorry, but even if the petition gets all the signatures it needs nobody wins and everybody loses.

They think Trump wants to ban Muslims because he doesn't like them. So they try to ban him because they don't like him and what he says. Yeah I'm sorry, nobody comes out of this looking good.

If anything it puts Trump on a damn pedestal. This guy is so big and bad they can't even have him in their country. The Trump supporters will lap that up like a thirsty dog who just got a big bowl of water placed in front of it.
