So on the one hand the contact between Penn and El Chapo might have helped catch him. But on the other hand Sean Penn is also a douche who writes about his farts.

I thought the guy looked more like a donut muncher and less like a drug master mind.. what's that actor who plays el Machete? He looks more like a drug lord!

😂

Sean had an interview scheduled with the ISIS leader, but he was to busy plotting the worlds demise.

Why is Sean Penn setting out to interview the leader of ISIS in the first place? Has everyone gone mad?

I don't see the big deal. Penn got the inside scoop every journalist would kill for.
And Rolling Stone has always had a non-biased stance of interviewing both the good & the bad of this world.

That was an Andy Borowitz column, which are never real to my knowledge.

I think the issue is both the poor quality of the interview and Sean Penn's ego.

Is Penn a journalist all of the sudden?

I used to have a negative opinion on Penn & his ego.
But over the recent years, I've enjoyed the back log of his films & gained respect for his humanitarian endeavours.

Sean Penn is a known hardcore liberal and poster boy for going into countries that have no ties with the US.

He's just a doofus, that's all he is. He takes it upon himself to play diplomat and interfere in things he shouldn't, like when he took the side of Argentina in the Falklands debate.

Rare but we agree on something, cheers👆

This is why I have no trouble believing Penn would try something like this. I also think his humanitarian efforts are just to feed his ego.

I hope he goes to jail.

I agree with you. I think he cares less about other people and more about his image.

We should hang him for being a traitor.

He is also known for having a temper..though the thing with him kidnapping Madonna and tying her to a chair seems to be false.

Hang him high and dry.

Speaking of hanging there are some claims Penn held a paparazzi by his ankles over a balcony Suge Knight style. Not sure if he specifically did tha, but he served jail time. Sometimes celebrities do horrible stuff and people just kind of ignore it.
