I'll take that and raise you the Sept of Baelor. Sure, it arguably did less (arguably), but at least she didn't have to wait on the sidelines of a war like a pussy in order to achieve it 🙂

Fugging irrelevant 🙂

Let's be honest, if Daenerys didn't exist, she'd be able to secure the realm.

When Luceno stated, that Plagueis was most powerful Sith Lord in history before Sidious, he did that by writing a proper text on book's cover (as I remember, am I right?). It instantly made it a part of a book, and canon statement. Tom Veitch opinion doesn't matter, he's not Lucas. As I remember, Drew K. once stated, that Revan, Vader and Bane should all be around the same level. His opinion doesn't matter as well. Legends had, have and will have Sidious as the strognest one. There are a proper quotes, and - since Legends wont be continued anymore - it wont change. Never.
1. That text on the book's cover referred to Plagueis' ability to manipulate the midi-chlorians.
2. Actually, Tom Veitch is a greater authority on Dark Empire Darth Sidious and Exar Kun(because he created the first and co-created the second) than George Lucas--who explicitly stated that the Expanded Universe does not follow his head canon.
3. The only reason Drew said that was because newer material(could/have) appear/ed and would create other conflicts within the lore. And because the writers have to suck Lucas' dick because he is the creator of Star Wars. And his characters need to remain in the center of attention in the saga.
But in a versus thread things are different.
So, here's the source:
Who’s stronger – Darth Bane, Darth Revan or Darth Vader? It’s a tie. Seriously, I can’t answer this. First, it’s not really up to me to make that kind of call. Second, it really depends on the situation. You can probably find rule books for various Star Wars role-playing games that will give you stats allowing you to compare relative strength. But from an artistic and dramatic standpoint, this kind of question has no "right" answer. Each character has strengths and weaknesses, and they grow and change as their stories progress. On any given day, at any given time, under any given circumstance anyone can win or lose. That’s what dramatic conflict is all about.
But at least no one can successfully disprove that their power relative to each other is ambiguous (especially Bane, considering he wrote him).
