Star wars rebels showdown

Old master maul vs darth vader as seen in rebels
Could this happen in star wars rebels
What would the result be?
Surely maul will be vastly more powerful after all these years since we last saw him?
Or would Vader wreck
Three rounds
1) Sabers only
2) Force only
3) All out

Maul. We all know Maul can't kill him since he doesn't die until Rotj but the series should show Maul as his superior.

I really hope so haha should be awesome!

Why on God's green Earth would Maul be more powerful than Vader for any reason?

Well, he's spent what, two decades in isolation? That should be more than enough time to increase his power greatly in the dark side. Possibly even master force lightning? So I maybe wouldn't say he would be outright stronger than vader, but certainly give him a run for his money

Are you people ****tarded? Being in isolation isn't better than being actively trained.

Tell that to Spider-Maul

You mean where he went insane and had to have his mother an hero?

and became more powerful for it, yis

Vader ragdolls him casually.

Depends what the 'study material' is, really. After all, Maul had already received over two decades of extensive training from Palpatine himself by the time TPM rolled around, and he only became more powerful during TCW/SoD. That said, he already had a great 'base' on which to build.

So if he's been in a Sith Temple for ~two decades, furthering his knowledge of the dark side from Sith Holocrons/text and whatnot, then he *should* have boosted his already considerable power immensely in that time.

I still say Vader pushes his shit in, though. 👆

I like he you didn't actually address my point. Unless Anakin as of RotS is weaker than Maul, that is. Hint: He isn't and wasn't. Training under Sidious, who had thousands of years worth of coveted Sith knowledge will be above a random temple until seen otherwise.

^ My point is simply that you do not need to have a Master actively training you your entire life for your power/knowledge to continue growing by leaps and bounds.

Not saying self-study is a preferred, and/or better method of training. Just saying that, given Maul's starting point, I can understand where some of the hype is coming from. A guy who already rivaled Dooku, presumably doing nothing but training for nigh-20 years, *should* be an absolute beast.

Just imagine the outrage if/when Vader beats him. g007_teehee

That's actually what I want, lol. We've seen Maul win, we've seen him get screwed out of wins, we've seen papa Sheev shitbutt him.

Now can we just see a fight between two badasses that ends brutally and satisfies both the Maul and Vader camps?

Vader will probably be the one to kill Maul. Which I think would add to the whole Chosen One thing. As he would have destroyed all the Sith (from the movies that is).

Plus Vader needs some combat feats against noteworthy opponents. So the more powerful they make Maul, the better it will make Vader look for taking him out.

The point I was making is that one is prefered...
