This is Steve Rogers as Captain America. Ryu can only use his Hadoken while Cap has his shield and a Pistol. Fight till Death or KO. They Battle in the Street of Washington D.C.

Ryu isn't island level, but he should be capable of destroying a small town based on how he stacks up relative to Chun-Li and M. Bison.

That doesn't make him Akuma level in power/damage output though, as Akuma uses the Dark Hadou and is bar none always in the top 3 when it comes to most powerful Street Fighter characters.

Akuma is island level. Dont know about Ryu

Didn't akuma split a asteroid or some shit. Something with a volcano too if I recall

Shin Akuma did bust a meteor, but he's more powerful than regular Akuma.

Hard to tell what's canon and what's not with SF now a days. That said Ryu should curbstomp Cap unless we use Cap's higher end showings. In that case Cap would beat Ryu's ass

Sagat's taken a burst of rifle fire to the chest, only to flex his muscles and pop the bullets out. Balrog practices on punching bags full of cinderblocks and has one-punched an Elephant. Charlie has dropped a cliff face on M. Bison with a flash kick. Chun Li has kicked Cammy 3 stories into the air with one hit. Ryu himself has walked around with a multi-ton boulder on his back, while his ki was being drained by Oro (who was riding the boulder), then got into a fight immediately after where he dragonpunched Hugo though a building.

Captain America is impressive physically, but not up to Street Fighter standards.

Cap is the better fighter and though Ryu might have a slight stats advantage it's not big enough against someone who is used to go against Hulk level characters. Cap 8-9/10.

Akuma would eat Hulk for breakfast.

Both evil Ryu and Akuma gave Asura a good run. (And don't anyone try and claim non canon, they're just as canon to Street Fighter as those animes are. Which is not at all. 😛 )

Cap could win (and probably mow through Ryu) if we're using his highest end feats, but normal feats I don't see Cap winning here.

People use anime feats all the time, but pretty sure there hasn't been a single anime that's been endorsed as canon by capcom. Not the II V series, not the movies based of SF II or III, and not even the recent shows setting up V..

From canon sources? (Which is basically the Street Fighter games, and nothing else). Destroying an island.

Not sure what he's done in various animes, but in the Asura's Wrath dlc, he was going toe to toe with Asura, who's more or less on Bayonetta's level. Planet/cosmic level type.

In the demo alone, Asura's stopping a giant finger that covers several continents..
