Going by that scan AA is no joke. HMs healing factor is prety boss though now.

Hawkman with gear was pretty impressive. They had a thread with scans of him doing some cool things.

Before I saw that, I would have said AA would stomp him.

I love HM, i just think both are aerial fighters, which will make this a somewhat ranged battle. AA has better ranged attack. Seems pretty well matched, since HM has the close up weapons.

Isn't Hawkman like a class 50?

Hawkman probably but he would work for it.

Best i've ever seen him look was, ironically, without the metal wings, guest starring in the original Thunderbolts run. Nicieza did a great job in showing how effective a pure flyer could be.
HM of course, has way more feats to his credit.

What do you mean exactly by "top tier"?

Like a few tiers above how he is on average. He can give guys like Namor or even Thor a run for their money. So, maybe slightly below top tier.

I'd say Hawkman wins a healthy majority, then. He can always amp himself (like he did with Blockbuster) via the Nth Metal. Nth Metal is crazy haxx now.

Yeah, I was about to mention that transformation ability.

Warren is definitely badass in the Horseman form, but his durability is suspect...
