Probably around the same level. I usually see Darkseid operate on a higher level more regularly like when he was playing chess with Solomon, but on the other hand I see Thanos succeed more often.

I would have liked to see Thanos vs Dr Doom back when it was just their own power set.

I don't know about intelligence, but that is putting somebody in their place like nobody's business. Mind you I have no clue what came before or after that little scene, but Thanos is the epitome of badass right there.
