Character Names- the Dorky and the Cool

Some characters seem to have lucked out with a very baddass tag, while others received names that will always take 100 points away from thier "Coolness Quotient".
But it doesn't always work out that way.

So, Cool and Dorky.

Give an example of each.

Off the top of my head-

Tigershark- cool

Supergiant- dork, destined to die.

Supermex NIGHT NIGHT MITCH'S!!

Cool (Namor)

Dorky (Aquaman)

Aquaman should have been Sea-Man. Like King of the 7 seas and all "sea" life.

Cool - Midnighter - sounds scary

Dork - Captain Boomerang (why 'Captain'? Seems pretty arbitrary rank-wise. Why not, 'Colonel Boomerang'? Nope, that's stupid too. In fact, anything ending in 'Boomerang ' is ridiculous)

Plastic Man- uncool. Deserves something cooler. Like "the Extender" or "Non-Static Shape Man".

For a character with a cool power, they could have done better.
Drugs, pizza and igniting farts, obviously distracted the creators one night.

Charlie-27 Ch'od. Some name sound scarier then actual character Avalanche for example
