We all know Bills health is failing and he's got early stages of dementia and can't help himself.

Reading the article, it seems it was in regards with the desire to not having to restrain himself politically like he does being the spouse of the top 1-2 Dem presidential hopeful, instead of wanting to spout off that all he wants is an orgy with younger women.

Usually things like medical conditions are covered up, now it would be a lot better for him to stay behind her and clap in support not bash sanders and call him and his supporters sexist. When Billy is intact a known sexist, fornicator and philanderer.

That's just your narrow interpretation of what he said. Anyone that might consider voting for Clinton can see what Bill meant, i.e. that he feels he is on eggshells and would sometimes like to say a lot harsher things, but can't because it might hurt her campaign.

If he has dementia, it's a private issue and I wouldn't fault the family for keeping it quiet, it's really no one's business until he/they decide to make it public. I personally don't think he has dementia from what I've seen (my wife's grandfather recently died after having it for years), but I'm also not a medical expert.

Back to the topic of the thread, do you see now that Bill wasn't saying that he wished he wasn't married just so he could get on with other women? That is was a comment in regards with having to be careful with what he says considering he's Hillary's husband and she's running in a tight race where the smallest slip of the tongue can make headlines. Case in point: Chelsea saying "President Sanders" and some people going loony over it.

Because his wife is running for president and I imagine he's conscious that what he says could affect her campaign.

I think a lot of politicians are somewhat frustrated by the kinds of things that people like Donald Trump get away with saying without much noticeable negative impact on their popularity.
