So we killed your boy? F*** you, pay me.

Tamir Rice’s family sued by city of Cleveland over unpaid ambulance bill for services needed after cops mortally wounded the 12-year-old boy

"The city of Cleveland, whose cops shot and killed a 12-year-old boy, Tamir Rice, over a toy gun, has billed the family for emergency medical services.

According to the creditor’s claim filed Wednesday in probate court, Rice’s family still owes the city $500 for the ambulance and paramedics who tried to save Tamir’s life after he was shot by a police officer in November 2014."

IMO, the least the city could do after two of its employees murdered a child is offer to pay the $500.00 fee themselves or have it waved.

There is already a thread on this..

Nope, that's a different messed up case.

Same shit, Rob can blame his biy Kasich.

Hey. That Family bought there Child a TOY GUN! As we have been learned that even that kind of gun is DANGEROUS!!!!!!!!!!! Kids can be arrested if they make the gun symbol with their fingers. This kid got what he deserved. Flaunting a weapon like that.

THE LITTLE MONSTER!!!!

He modified the toy to make it resemble a real weapon, its funny how the people never put in that kind of situation try to pass judgement.

Pretty sure Kasich isn't the mayor of Cleveland and aren't you against the government overstepping?

But yeah, would be nice if Kasich took 30seconds out of his campaign, made a call and dropped his Governorial hammer on Cleveland.

F*ck universal healthcare. If the family just paid for the ambulance themselves instead of letting the taxpayers cover it, then their son would still be dead and they wouldn't be in this mess.

This is in pretty bad taste but isn't this how a government works? There is no lens of compassion. Just automation .

Mayor issued a public apology for the bill, saying it would be immediately withdrawn and it was a mistake it was ever filed.

So not all hope is lost for our world thankfully

I knew this would be fixed. I also knew this was just beaurecrat policy. There should have been written exemption however

The police killed the kid, not the ambulance and paramedics.
