Nope

Les Silver Surfer? Surfer's a chick?

Always thought he was just a eunuch, like Varys from GoT.

Les was a typo as I meant LEE, as in Stan Lee. But who said SS was a "chick"?

It stems from the BZ.

Carver and darthgoober were adamant that Surfer should be considered a Low/Mid Herald.

You need to relax more and visit us more often, lol.

I was joking 😛

Les = Lesbian, so that'd totally make Surfer a chick. Imagine all those She-Hulk/Surfer fanart sex scenes.

Reading the title for a second I thought this was Steve Buscemi as the Silver Surfer.

Not really. It might not be easy due to Bryne's Supes being less powerful too, but depowered Surfer didn't really have a whole lot in the raw power department. There were a couple references to him being severely depowered during that period. He had some good high end feats too, but nothing that blew Bryne's Supes out of the water and he had some ridiculous lows that more than balance the high end stuff out. All his really big stuff like destroying planets, evolving planets, creating blackholes, etc., came from later days after he escaped from Earth so it's no huge stretch to say Supes wins this one.

Ok. Thank you for the insight. I remember a buddy of mine who was reading some of the Stan Lee/ John Buscema stories remarking how inconsistent they were being with SS power set. Even Spider-Man put him on the floor with a punch.

😆

Although he was at a fraction of his power, depowered Surfer still alluded to his power to shatter and smash planets a few times, and demonstrated he still had planetary level energy manipulation when he easily disrupted all power and communications on Earth.

According to Surfer, while trapped on Earth he had to hold back his power to avoid atomizing Earth.

If we are taking statements at face value, it would be a fun game.

Quex-ul stated that Superman was as strong as pocket dimension kryptonians (pre crisis that is).

Mind you, Superman actually knocked Pre-crisis Mon-El out. The same guy who was tossing planets at the time trapper.
