About the French guy

What I mean with that...

It'd be like you created a program that was so sofisticated that it could really program other programs within itself.

That would be Matrix within Matrix. But does not necessarily mean that the original programmer could predict WHAT matrices would be created by the "top-level" Matrix.

Ok.

Which thread exactly? It seems to be discussed here and there 😉

The OFFICIAL 'Is there more than one Matrix' thread.

the french guy made it clear that neo and the others are only following orders and doing things as they are told but things would only be clear to them when they begin to understand why they have to do things. he made it clear that they do not know what they needed the keymaker for and he said he would not release him because they do not know the 'why' of their purpose, so i feel he knows the answer to what they are looking for but they dont. they feel what they are looking for is the answer to end the war but in actual fact, their salvation is something else, but which only the merovingian and persephone knows.....which is why neo realised the prophecy was a lie..so their salvation is something else other than what they think or expect.

Sounds plausible...

It would probably mean that the french guy and Persephone will appear in the next movie as well.

Isn't she in the Revolutions trailer?

I think like you alaba Everything Merovigian said makes sense coz he knows something like persephone, dont u noticed that everything in M2 was following orders. This is about Morph beliving in something that is not true. But in M3 is gonna be Neos belives at all

yeah trin...the merovingian knows a lot more than we think cause he seems to be too confident at times. and i think what he said about them just following orders is what would set neo off. i think it's about time he realises he doesnt have to listen to anyone. a bay listens to his father until someday, he's old enough to make choices for himself. revolutions is gonna show a lotta freethinking and freewilling!

the merovingian, mythologically speaking, were descended from the sephilim, or fallen angels that stayed on earth and did not descend into hell, and mated with human beings. that would make it reasonable when he calls seraph "judas." it also explains why he would have survived predecessors, because he has been around since the beginning...

i think that Mero was actually voicing what he seems to realize about programs, that they follow predictable patterns based on programming...but humans do not have such programming, although there is a purpose to our lives.
