Yes, total n00b. Remember, it was the main writer for both Silver Surfer and Green Lantern Ron Marz who wrote the issue and under whom Thanos has some of his best feats like fighting Tyrant or killing Surfer or fighting PG Thor.

It's canon. You can argue the site rules, but it's canon. Deal with it. Even though you'll dismiss it via the rules(which you needed someone to point out to you), the fact that Kyle beat an amped Thanos in a canon comic has forever killed a part of your soul.
