I'd still say that was fairly dicey language personally, I mean upper-class Black people have no relevance on the murders committed in the ghettos, so whilst the race isn't difference the context is very different. I'm not trying to make you change how you're speaking, just saying my opinion on it. Like most corrupt bankers are White or Jewish but that isn't to say "White people and Jews are responsible for most economic corruption", it just means that the people who commit the most economic corruption are White or Jewish. It's a kind of subtle difference but I think it's quite important personally.
I suppose, but I think people know we're not talking about the upper class black people when we are talking about the criminals and murderers. So just having to pause to clarify something that, while poorly phrased..should of still been understandable, seems like a reason to just pivot from the issue a bit.
Then you see how I was scrambling, even after clarifying I felt the need to clarify what I meant by "they" which is just silly and you see now you and I are discussing the wording of a certain thing as opposed to the legit issue.
I am not accusing specifically you of this because I know you know what I meant.

The internet sucks so much for getting a point across, it's so easy to misunderstand people. I guess I would have said something like "even though 50% of the murders in the country are committed by members of a race that only make up 13% of the total population."

Anyways, obviously I'm not American but I'll draw some kind of parallel to what I think this statistic means, and at the same time address xyz's general idea of "Africa etc. is less civilised", even though I know he's mostly trolling and I'm not specifically starting a debate with him or anything: it's all about education. Education in Africa sucks, to be a bit reductive. And education in a lot of Black neighbourhoods in America is bad, too. So because they aren't taught worthwhile stuff in school, they see no point in anything and oftentimes will just sign up with whatever gang their older brother or whatever is in. This does show a race divide in America that can be fixed, and I think it'd be good to do stuff like this. Where are the most rough areas in the UK? In the poorest areas that have bad schools and not much opportunity for proper education – these areas, depending on the part of the country, can be mostly Black or Asian populated or mostly White populated, like much of the North (I'm not saying the North is uneducated and poor, I'm saying the North is really really White and there are still rapscallions on bikes mugging people for a Twix). These people are never taught the importance of what it means to be part of a larger community so never feel the need to connect to the world at large, and as such, often turn to crime.
It's not a race issue, it's an issue of the links between poverty, education and opportunity.
Education is literally a thing invented by white people. All successful "black" people have white genes in them. The moment white people leave a black country or lose power, the black people turn it into ****ing shit. Examples are Zimbabwe and South Africa.
The moment black people move to a major city that white people created it turns into a gun crime haven. Examples are NY, Chicago, LA and Detroit.
Black people have been in state run education just like white people, but white people dont do nearly as much crime as black people. Black people are even given lower standards to be accepted into universities and still cant be successful. Speaking of universities, Harvard and Yale are slumping in results while their acceptance of black people has increased.
White people taught black people how to be farm equipment, although slavery was an african tradition and was mostly black slave owners in the usa. Black people created much less crime when enslaved and under jim crow laws.
Africa was nothing before white people went there, and as soon as white people left, as did civilisation. Most black people wont even understand this because a large number of them dont even know how to ****ing read!
The governor of Maine speaks the truth and..is called racist:
Keep in mind the guy did act like a prick but..what he said about the drug trade is only racist if it's not true and nobody has come out to show it's not.
He said blacks bear the primary responsibility for the drug trade in the state. He didn't say all blacks are criminals or drug dealers. Nor did he even say blacks are 100% to blame for the drug trade in his state.

Probably because some of the words he chose to use were racist. No, him being abused as a child and a Frenchy is not an excuse for his racism.

From the article:
"LePage's latest outburst came in response to a report that state Representative Drew Gattine had described him as racist for focusing on black people as bearing primary responsibility for the drug trade in the state."
Why is this specifically racist though? Explain. You could say the stuff about "drug dealers named Shifty" could be seen as it, but the other stuff? Not really.
