Some black people, i assume, are good people. But holy **** this movement is an embarrassment. To me it looks like theyre upset that tall straight cisgendered hetero almost white male barack obama abandoned his blackness to steal all the identities of everyone else.

Okay. I can't really disagree with most of this. But I'd be stronger on the part about black people: most black Americans are damn good people, just like anyone else. It's the minority percentage (no pun intended) that do all the stupid shit.

Okay so these cops are going to bust up some drug dealers and the people pull what appear to be guns and then are shot and killed. The guns apparently turn out to be pellet guns or something. So this is a justified shooting if it went down exactly as the article says.
Yet do you notice the headline of the article? It's true they are on leave(as is procedure) and yet the headline almost seems to be implying that the cops did something wrong. That is what I would think upon seeing such a headline.
Looking at Black Lives Matter topics on google..
From the looks of things, most liberal outlets are only mentioning them now to decry their support of Palestein/condemnation of Israel. Gently, but that's the main topic at the expense of other black issues.
While Conservative sites also seem to be against this position, as they often support Israel.
So it looks like BLM effectively burned all their bridges. One single issue, and they're marginalized.

Of course this is nothing new for Chicago, it's just getting more attention from the media because of the connection to a politician.
I wouldn't be surprised if someone ends up getting shot at the memorial for this person. It's happened numerous times here in the past 6 months, shootings at funerals/memorials for people who died in..shootings.
