Sure, but the story has very little to do with the Black Lives Matter movement, except that these people used the phrase to pick a fight.
How 'white fragility' reinforces racism – video explainer
Really resonates with me about many posts in this thread.
I’ve found Robin DiAngelo’s book pretty bad, terrible at communicating effectively, mainly designed to preach to the converted and completely blinded to any power dynamics, hierarchies and economic aspects of racial subjugation. I’ve also been baffled that liberal America has chosen to elevate the book written by a white woman, a corporate training salesperson no less, to be the bestselling, mainstream defining work on the conditions of black experiences with racism.

Originally posted by Artolit's really just a critique of trumps disorganisation. Bolton in some ways is worse but he is an adult at least, one of the things which comes across clearly is trump is a man baby.
I always thought as far as Republicans go Bolton is much worse than Trump. Does much of Bolton’s ideology spill into the book, or is it mostly an attack on Trump?

The part about the idea of a "white savior" being the worst of all.
Let's unpack the concept. A white, is shamed, for assuming two black kids can't get along without him.
In other words, a rich white males are very conveniently absolved from spending their money on a minority.
Sure, you could always give to charity or an organization, but how many of us even expect that? All you really seem to need, is good cheap words.
This is such a convenient benefit to whites, I can believe it was white men promoting "white savior" anger from the start.
Black woman, is anti-BLM, is on video calling for police to be refunded while pouring black paint over a BLM mural. Oh shit.

Very same people who wanna defund the police are there on scene asking the cops to arrest her, LMFAO!
Imagine being a cop and arresting a woman who is out there defending you. I know they have to do it, but it has gotta be mind blowing that the very people who want you gone are urging you to arrest someone who doesn't want you gone.
On top of the fact that people were allowed to burn and riot, but apparently the cops need to be protecting some words people painted on the ground.
15 people wounded in shooting at Chicago funeral home
And in case anyone is curious: yes the funeral was for someone who was shot and killed last week.

Saw that.
She's a true inspiration and what the black community needs.
However, if you hear some of her words, it sounds like people in her family were harmed by the black-on-black violence and she's angry at the Democrats doing nothing or even making situations worse.
Like many black families, they are not part of the 10 unarmed black men killed by police last year: they are losing families members from the systematic violence in the black community. And many black people are sick of it and beyond their breaking point. They want their lives to actually matter, they are tired of being treated like "tokens" in politics. They want their lives to actually mean something and real action to take place to improve their communities.
