Another mass shooting, this time in Kansas

Guns definitely keep those "3 dead and 14 injured" safe, that we can be sure of.

You know "guns in the hands of right people"...

So far I'm not reading any good news stories that back that claim up.

There have been a variety of stories of people with legal conceal and carry permits being able to save the lives of others, those are what I mean by the right type of people.

You do know the number of dead and injured could of been higher if not for the fact a cop shot him with a gun, right?

Yep, a gun definitely kept him safe too

Which just means it all comes down to who is wielding the gun, correct? In the right hands it can save lives or protect people and in the wrong hands it can end lives.

Which is why there needs to be gun reform where we have better background checks, better cohesion between state/fed departments, getting ride of the clownshow loopholes, stricter licensing etc.

But no, we can't get that because "mah gun freedom" people are scared they might have to wait an extra week for their precious.

Well yes we do need better laws, hopefully this incident will shine a light on that even if the guns were bought illegally.

Was it just 2 weeks ago we read about a 4 year old toddler who fatally shot his sister with his grandfather's unsecured pistol...?

Now Iowa wants to pass a Bill that allows kids under 14 to own a handgun.

Darwin ism

Anyway, all babies should be issued a firearm and a grenade at birth. Get them started young and this shit wouldn't happen.

If only rape was as high as your shootings...imagine all the jokes we could make.

Did not hear about this, but it doesn't negate my point, but yes..people need to be careful. With children around guns need to be kept in lockboxes, not just somewhere a kid can find. Oh and especially not loaded.

Now Iowa wants to pass a Bill that allows kids under 14 to own a handgun.

What is their rationale behind this?

Ok so this article:

http://whotv.com/2016/02/23/bill-would-allow-children-to-shoot-at-any-age-with-parental-consent/

They can't own a handgun. What they want is to be able to have kids under 14 able to use a gun if a parent is supervising.

But if you read you will notice they also passed a bill so you can carry a gun while on an atv or snowmobile. Since that is apparently a bill this state needed.

Alright so we have Oregon and Florida as crazy ass states, now we can add Iowa to the list.

So we now know where he got the guns:

His fat faced ex gf. Of course it wasn't her fault she says he threatened her. She could face up to 10 years and to me if we took that sentence and maybe doubled it then maybe people might be a bit more hesitant to provide guns to known felons.

I mean damn I almost feel sorry for her if she truly was afraid for her life since..the shooter is dead. This woman is now the only person alive that people can point the finger at.
