There's nothing wrong with having a gun for self defense. It's just that there's no need for a civilian to be carrying around military grade small arms. That's what gun control is about. Except who was I smearing? I merely pointed out this was a situation where a gun helped. I never even mentioned liberals or that they want a 100% ban on guns.
All I said was that it depends on who wields the gun when it comes to danger with guns. Pointing this stuff out doesn't equate to me bashing anything.
Lestov like many liberals believe in a all powerful central government, but what they can't grasp is that fact that the larger you make government the larger the government has to increase its police force and power. You cannot separate the cause from effect, larger far reaching government means more regulations, which means more law enforcement to make sure those regulations and laws are followed.

That's not a smear though it is a fact. The media pushes the narrative of course. I felt this was obvious that I was talking about the fact that negative incidents with guns make the news far more often. As for why they do it? Who knows. Ratings? Or they naively believe they are helping?

So you're against law enforcement.....unless they're assaulting/killing minorities, then it's fine. Oregon redneck gets killed, the cops are oppressive, but black people get killed for selling cigarettes and hey, cops gotta protect themselves. Sorry if I seem assertive, it's just your stance on law enforcement and how well they should be armed seems to constantly shift depending on the circumstances.
