Knights of Ren: Are they from Malachor?

This may sound like a little conspiracy theory here, but the name 'Ren' - that sounds a little too close to Revan. Take away the v and the a & that makes 'Ren.' So is it possible that the 1st Order took Knights of Ren from Malachor? Disney is stepping into Malachor history, but we have yet to see what is going to be revealed. Any thoughts?

Ren is just "Ben" with the bottom erased off.

Kylo is also suspiciously close to "Kyle", Kyle Katarn confirmed canon.

But no, the Ren is supposed to be Sabine's last name, "Wren". EzraSnoke just can't spell.
