You are absolutely right. And if there is comic which Loeb writes with Cap facing off a top tieror someone close, Cap will win.

Pretty much everything printed right now, it's insulting to my intelligence as a comic book fan and as a functioning adult.

Nothing makes sense, and everything feels like it was written by someone who has never read the character's comic. It's like Bendis is writing everything.

I just delete it off my hard drive. Last week I deleted a whole bunch of comics off my phone to make way for porn. I made the right choice

I tried to dl Carmen Kinsley and it wouldn't let me. What a couple gigs of comics were doing on my phone in the first place is a mystery but they're a distant memory now in favor of better ones.

really?? i loved identity crisis....

convergence and the new secret wars were terrible enough to pi$$ me off for different reasons. convergence was just flat out awful while sw was in the making for....3 years? and THAT is the explanation we get? just absurd imo. tbh, there is a LOT of stuff from the 80's that was just unreadable--a LOT. i think, by and large, the quality of writing OVERALL in the market is better now than it probably ever has been, and the art too. i think the internet has helped keep writers and their works more honest. marvel had that arc a few years back called maximum security that was unreadable. i hated the goddess arc in the infinity series' as well (infinity crusade??)

anyway, there has been a lot of really, really horrible stuff put out there.....

Actually, the writing now is pretty good except for dc and marvel's majority

guess i don't really care as much about pis as others. tbh, i think it's an age thing. not sure how old most here are, but i'm guessing younger. the vast majority of my comic collecting years i never once looked at the internet let alone knew what a forum might one day become. i just took pis as cool showings for characters i liked, and crap for those i didn't. so seeing ds beat the league|? barely a blip on my radar. as for the ending? the mystery was awesome, and the deviation from the usual cosmic villain storyline that dominates 'events' these days made identity crisis easily one of my favourite events in the last 15 years by either company. it's near the top tbh.
