Your logic is if any sequel does less it means they lost fans. By your logic rogue one lost half its audience but you ignore that to focus on TLJ which was critically praised and made more to peddle your fanboyism. Your logic fails at every turn. If BP 2 does not make close to 1.3 billion they lost fans. Cannot wait to hold this silly bs over you. Cannot wait for avatar 2, etc.
Again I never claimed every sequel has to make as much as the original otherwise its a failure thats lost fans. You know exactly the point im making because weve discussed it for almost 3 years now, which is that the drop of this trilogy is pretty unprecedented.
So quit making out this is some new BS ive just come up with. The NUMBERS are THE NUMBERS. You can troll your way around them all you want, but they dont lie. They dont dictate quality. But do measure the level of demand.
BP was a massive cultural event. Its not expected to match those figures with every sequel. Avatar was visual spectacle. But there doesnt seem to be much hype for it nowadays. So they probably lost their window. Over 15 years is a LONG time for the first sequel.
So again, not expected.
Laughable though that you cant wait to hold me to this in a post Covid - 19 world. Instead of just giving me examples RIGHT NOW of another celebrated franchise which lost literally half its audience from beginning to end. I mean have there not been enough films made for you to rub my BS in yet? Lmao
You used to give me the example of the PT, which didnt drop AS HARD from TPM to AOTC, but then went up again for ROTS. But TROS poor performance has thrown that one out for you. So im waiting for another comparison.
So YOU ALREADY CONCEDED that TLJ Underperformed. Then TROS made even LESS. Its simply a fact that This trilogy lost HALF its audience over its lifetime of Only 4 years. Accept facts and quit crying over it. Its not my fault its Dropped so massively. You had it over me when TFA made $2bill, but now by then end, the Unprecedented DROP in numbers supports my narrative of this trilogy FAR MORE than it follows yours.

He has nothing else left to argue on the subject. This trilogy has become a cultural joke.
And even the numbers dont really look that great tbh. Especially the massive DROP.
