So if the next avengers film does not hit 2 billion you claim they lost fans. The first film did amazing due to the gap in between films. It was not as successful no but a billion is still a profit. I never said this was loved by all. My favorite trilogy by far and I got to see Rey solo Palpatine further humiliating the character.

What billion dollar film has ever lost a studio money? Give me a factual answer.

Avengers began at 1.5 bill and ended its Quadrilogy at 2.7billion.

The ST did the reverse. Couldnt even beat Joker at the end 😂

Theres a ceiling to everything. Avengers has earned a break from records. Star Wars is being mocked worse than the DCEU.

So yeah dumb example.

So avengers 2 lost fans since 1 made more. See how stupid you sound. I do not judge movies solely based off profit but I am glad you are happy Joker made more you toxic fan. Star Wars is second to MCUs my favorite which I told you about. Every time I claim something it comes true. AM made the most and was the best dceu film thus far. You raved about the dceu over MCU years back. I told you Thanos would be the greatest villain of all time. I told you RoS would make a billion. I told you Solo was a bad idea for a film and it tanked.

I told you dceu was not dead after JL you wanted the dceu scrapped. You are about as fairweather as fandom gets. You claimed Shazam was a hit when it did not get close to 500 million. Be consistent.

Avengers 2 lost a little bit. Like 100mill. I didnt say any sequel that makes less than its predecessor is a failure.

The ST lost HALF Its AUDIENCE. HALF.

Jeez you are ridiculously dumb with your examples.

...I like Rogue One.

I don't know if I liked rogue one, or if I just really liked that one scene

Oh now it does not matter. It always deoends on the film. I guess by your logic rogue one is nowhere near as successful as Last Jedi. Rogue one came out before TLJ. Your logic is absurd and just feelings based. You will ignore R1s numbers but somehow RoS means they lost half the audience. I called a billion and I was right.

😂

Im pretty consistent. And explained it to you thoroughly before TROS, about how even TLJ massively underperformed. You agreed then, but after TROS made Significantly LESS than Even TLJ, now youre denying that it matters at all.

Theyve lost HALF their audience. They originally had plans to make sequels to this trilogy which were scrapped.

Only a blind fan boy would act is if it all went to plan with no hick ups at all.

And frankly its a really desperate argument to compare Age of Ultron dropping a small and reasonable amount from the first Avengers, to a Trilogy that lost HALF its audience from its start to end.

Especially given we know what happened to Avengers box office after AOU facepalm.

No one ever predicted it would hit 2 billion. Rogue one followed the 2 billion film and only hit 1 billion but you ignore that fact to instead force your own conspiracy theories onto me.

Solo dramatically changed events as it tanked hard.

Your logic is if any sequel does less it means they lost fans. By your logic rogue one lost half its audience but you ignore that to focus on TLJ which was critically praised and made more to peddle your fanboyism. Your logic fails at every turn. If BP 2 does not make close to 1.3 billion they lost fans. Cannot wait to hold this silly bs over you. Cannot wait for avatar 2, etc.

You ever notice how the ONLY thing He can bring up is the Money Issue?

I don't think He actually watches any of these movies.

Again I never claimed every sequel has to make as much as the original otherwise its a failure thats lost fans. You know exactly the point im making because weve discussed it for almost 3 years now, which is that the drop of this trilogy is pretty unprecedented.

So quit making out this is some new BS ive just come up with. The NUMBERS are THE NUMBERS. You can troll your way around them all you want, but they dont lie. They dont dictate quality. But do measure the level of demand.

BP was a massive cultural event. Its not expected to match those figures with every sequel. Avatar was visual spectacle. But there doesnt seem to be much hype for it nowadays. So they probably lost their window. Over 15 years is a LONG time for the first sequel.

So again, not expected.

Laughable though that you cant wait to hold me to this in a post Covid - 19 world. Instead of just giving me examples RIGHT NOW of another celebrated franchise which lost literally half its audience from beginning to end. I mean have there not been enough films made for you to rub my BS in yet? Lmao

You used to give me the example of the PT, which didnt drop AS HARD from TPM to AOTC, but then went up again for ROTS. But TROS poor performance has thrown that one out for you. So im waiting for another comparison.

So YOU ALREADY CONCEDED that TLJ Underperformed. Then TROS made even LESS. Its simply a fact that This trilogy lost HALF its audience over its lifetime of Only 4 years. Accept facts and quit crying over it. Its not my fault its Dropped so massively. You had it over me when TFA made $2bill, but now by then end, the Unprecedented DROP in numbers supports my narrative of this trilogy FAR MORE than it follows yours.

He has nothing else left to argue on the subject. This trilogy has become a cultural joke.

And even the numbers dont really look that great tbh. Especially the massive DROP.

So

.

^ Yeah and pretty much everyone acknowledges and agrees that franchise went down the shite hole since T2.

Also stop helping Quan. Hes waiting to see how Avatar 2 does before he makes his rebuttal 😂

I've said it a million times already and I'll say it again.

"A Star Wars Story" anthology films were awesome and they should keep making them.

This was one of my favorite Star Wars films.

It’s the only Star Wars film that ever gave any justice to Anakins power

I don't want to see Star Wars get even More infused with Cancel Culture SJW Fascism.

Well they have given up on the Skywalker Saga, as well as on Rey, Poe and Finn, due to how universally despised the new trilogy and characters have been.

So technically whatever we get next would be a spin off.

Yeah, but they still want to stick to the trilogy format...

One-shot stories revolving around the OT (and PT) were easier for them to do and far more enjoyable for the audience.

Yeah becacuse the Classit OT Characters weren't created by Agenda looking to appease Very Strict and Rigid Minority Groups.

I know. Just looking at the bright side.

Those anthology movies will be reinterpreted as Disney plus mini series.
