How does Doomsday stack up?

Hulk and Thor had good fight scenes?

The only thing I remember from them is beating a bunch of putty patrol level Aliens/Droids in the Avengers movies

Hulk had his fight with Abomination at least, then again that movie wasnt even made by Marvel Studios.

Iron Man slammed Hulk through and building and had said building collapse on him.

I thought Hulk tanking that was badass. My opinion though.

Marvel has yet to make a good high tier superhuman fight imo, it doesnt help that their villians are weak as hell and sucks ass, Marvel Studios are good with street level shit though.

I mean Superman tanked a nuclear missile and was pulling out a friggin tanker like nothing in this movie, like I said, the movie was lackluster but Snyder REALLY knows how to potrait SUPERheroes.

I hope WB keeps him as action consultant.

I dont hate the source material, but you cant be too cartoonish when it comes to film because then it looks campy or just over the top stupid.

Thats why Snyder keeps failing. Also the fact he is not a good story teller, or anything else than just a person that makes good visuals.
He just stop making movies just do movie trailers.
You have to tone down some comic stuff in order for things to translate better to film.

Good film > Hulk lifting a mountain just cause "its cool"

Well they could have been better. But Thor vs. IM, Thor vs. Hulk, Hulk vs. Abom, Thor vs. Frost Giants and Hulk vs. Hulkbuster were all better than Superman vs. Zod IMO.

At the very least, the moves they were able to pull out were more complex than the moves Superman and Zod pulled out.

nah, way too nerfed/vanilla fights.

Supes vs Zod is how godlike being fight in comic books

Thor vs. Malekith was just a shorter version of Supes vs. Zod.

And Superman didnt "tank" a nuke any more than Thor "Tanked" the sokovia explosion. Same result.

Superman strenght and speed feats in BvS puts him really really above Thor though.

Unless Thor gets an upgrade in Ragnarock he is not touching Superman

Doomsday is not only strong and fast as hell but also has poweful regenerative abilities, he can spam city busting heat vision attacks everytime he adapts.

Oh and also he can absorb energy like First Class Sebastian Shaw, he tanked a nuclear missile (and Supes too) and absorbed it without problems.

It doesnt help that he is gigantic, he is bigger than the Hulkbuster

He is pretty much Hunter/Prey Doomsday

While the superpowered fights in the DC movieverse are more fun than the ones in the MCU IMO, Man of Steel was disappointing, and word on the street is that BvS is garbage.

They're not bothered by DC making shit movies, they'll make a token couple of posts about how the movies weren't the best, then proceed to spend hundreds if not thousands of posts explaining how their character would win.

Bad movie/story =/= bad power showings

BvS is over the top and bombastic like a comic book, the thing is, like Inhuman said, it can be a turn off for many people.

You can like MCU more but you have to admit that Marvel is not doing a good job with their high tier characters or even villains who are pretty much a joke.

Doomsday, Namek. Faora, Zod just felt way more dangerous and imposing compared to a weak norse god and his mook alien army or a weak ass comedian robot and his mook droid army.

Its pretty sad that we have two Avengers movies and the team still didnt face a real challenge or powerful enemy.

You seem to care more about power feats than whether or not the movie is good. That said that "weak" Norse god(Thor) still has better power feats than the Zod crew.
