I do Physics at University I was wondering what other Physicists make of an E8 theory

I do Physics at University I was wondering what other Physicists make of an E8 theory of everything? Is it possible does it make sense to you?

Did..did someone tell you a lot of physicists post here? Why do I suspect you aren't a true physics professor? I am jealous of your school though, I've always heard this "University" place was better then Harvard and Oxford combined.

What you're thinking of is the E₈×E₈ gauge group, which is one out of two anomaly-free gauge groups describing a heterotic string.
