Yoda and Palpatine have a shared vision and they realize the Jedi Order is flawed and Rule of Two is also a failure. They decide to wipe their own orders to start everything again from the scratch. So they start AN ASSASSINATION GAUNTLET.

They could be killed if put in a bad situation tactically, but otherwise they should win (Palpatine one-shots 50 clone troopers in a comic, albeit a post-RotS incarnation).

They need to attack and move very quickly to avoid being gunned down. My guess is that they can (force lightning + uber speed shown in Plagueis)
