He fails every round with any opponent above Halsey tier and gets stomped by MagnaGuard.

He is a total failure that was supposedly "enthusiast" duelist, while Plagueis considered lightsaber duels a waste of time. He trained Venamis in Plagueis's style, he obviously knew everything Plagueis was taught (as the only Sith Master and the only source of knowledge and practice for Plagueis). Venamis was never seen inferior to Plagueis physically, and had full training by somebody who already trained Plagueis and knew everything possible about his fighting style. Yet Venamis turned out to be a failure.

The faggot was unable to teach enthusiastic duelist in the person of Venamis to answer to the fighting style he knew in 100%, with the guy being physically near-equal to Plagueis. He was either a failure as a duelist or failure as a teacher.

I say both.

Yeah, Plagueis never indicated that his master was orders of magnitude weaker than him. Given the theme of the Banite line, he's probably above Bane. Which isn't saying much, I guess.
