Enter The Matrix (neo, New Moves)

ok, i do not believe that you can play as neo... but... i have the pc version of the game and if you take a look at the game files you see neo.dcx and if you rename this and overwrite ghosts data then you can play as neo. This was not the intentention of the creators of the game, but the file must be there for some reason. there is also a model for morpheus. The pictures that are in the game(view command) have nothing to whit this...
So i don't think you can play as neo... for now
and then I have a question about the movies in the game...
Icompleted the whole game on hard, I finished the hacking game and i have the sword, but there a still a few movies that are locked...
are this the movies from the other charachter ( thats what i think ) or are there some hidden movies in the game?

From the other character. Also some films just don;t seem to unlock when I got to them- to see the Ghost meets Oracle bit I have to keep beating Seraph again, whilst as Niobe I can just hack up the clip.

Hey Guys, Please tell me how to get Multiplayer in Enter the Matrix For PC. I have tried the cheat, its not working... and when i type, for instance view b😬bla\bla.img correctly... it makes a good noise like its working, but i see nothing, and same with view and such...

And i have msn messanger, please send me the pic, im [email protected], message me

i put the code in and it says it works... but i dont kno were to go...what menu thing...

Okay. I am new to these boards and thought this would be an excellent opportunity to share what I have gathered. I am a big fan of the Matrix series and had an excellent time playing through the game. I too want to see Neo as a playable character. So here goes.

Most of us seem to have a common misconception about the decoding. I read this somewhere else, I take no credit for it. It seemed to make sense.

Do you know about the Echo feature of hacking? If not, here is what it is. You type something in and it spits it right back out at you. Here's what it looks like:

A:/>ECHO Neo Unlocked
Neo Unlocked

That's all it does. Somebody figured out the code that the Decoder uses and encoded "Neo Unlocked". I believe the PAL PS2 version has this capability. Anything that says something like Neo in it gives the message "valid code" or whatever and then the voice with the whole "acess granted" thing. Foregive me if I got those quotes wrong. Then it spits out what was encoded, now decoded.

Don't get all hyper on me if I got that wrong. It made sense to me. Unfortunately, I don't know the encryption, so I can't test this. It looks like we will have to keep looking.

As for the off-topic subject of multiplayer, I do not believe it exists on the PC version of this game. How would they do that? Internet connection? If there was a connection involved there would need to be servers and it would be a much bigger to-do. I believe it only exists on the console versions.

Hopefully Shiny will leek out some more codes, one of them for Neo.

Damn, i wanted to play multiplayer on pc.... oh well... and none of the other codes and stuff like the decode thing for neo doesnt work, but it does on my friends ps2, oh well...

well if u read one of my other posts i think me and a friend (pretty much him) have gotten DANGEROUSLY close to getting him... I just gotta get this pic posted

well the decode does nothing, it just says neo unlocked but it does nothing....i wish it did lol

If any of you want to check out the boards at gamefaqs.com , some people seem to be getting close there as well. Though it would be safe to note that there are many flamers and skeptics - more of these unhelpful people than those actually motivated. This is a great gaming site if you are ever stuck or want a cheat code.

yes a good site indeed, as i said before... If someone would IM me on AIM or msn messenger (or i'll IM u , just right ur SN) I will send them my pic i got from TheMatrix.com which was deep inside the matrix.... My friend did some major hacking in the game and he got here....(the pic) I tried posting it but it wont work

When you click Post Reply, there should be a button that says Attatch File. Assuming you saved it to your hard drive, click Browse and search your computer for where you saved it. If all goes well it should work.

I know but after it's done the picture isn't there... i tried like 3 times

but what is the level select thing...tell me the exact way to get to the multiplayer fighting...thanx

gah... ok---
1) type in the code....
2)goto load (and load whichever file u hacked the multiplyer in)
3)when the screen comes up where u pick the level to start keep pressing LEFT
4) there will be a multiplayer option and it willl have different levels to choose from
