Hey Beef Lord, you did it in Decode mode didn't you. Did you read my previous post? I thought I already settled that thing. The one time I make a good point everyone doesn't bother! I'll post the same exact thing again.
Most of us seem to have a common misconception about the decoding. I read this somewhere else, I take no credit for it. It seemed to make sense.
Do you know about the Echo feature of hacking? If not, here is what it is. You type something in and it spits it right back out at you. Here's what it looks like:

That's all it does. Somebody figured out the code that the Decoder uses and encoded "Neo Unlocked". I believe the PAL PS2 version has this capability. Anything that says something like Neo in it gives the message "valid code" or whatever and then the voice with the whole "acess granted" thing. Foregive me if I got those quotes wrong. Then it spits out what was encoded, now decoded.
Don't get all hyper on me if I got that wrong. It made sense to me. Unfortunately, I don't know the encryption, so I can't test this. It looks like we will have to keep looking.
As for the off-topic subject of multiplayer, I do not believe it exists on the PC version of this game. How would they do that? Internet connection? If there was a connection involved there would need to be servers and it would be a much bigger to-do. I believe it only exists on the console versions.
Hopefully Shiny will leek out some more codes, one of them for Neo.

I have explained this on way too many boards to explain it again. I will just say that the "Neo Unlocked" message is NOT, I repeat NOT because someone figured out how to use the Encode command. It is because it is a code which is hardcoded into the game. How do I know this? Because every single code that CAN be decoded is already hardcoded into the game.
They cannot be encoded and then decoded on another machine. Why? Because the encode command doesn't do anything. I own both the PC version AND the Xbox version (PAL - I live in the UK) and it does absolutely nothing, nada, zip!
I'm sorry if I made a mistake Sifer. But the point remains: This is getting intense and that helped in only minimal ways. We already established that it does not work. We commend you for your willingness to share your knowledge with those less enlightened, but matters do not have to get that intense.
And Sifer, aren't you the famous guy on gamefaqs that is "close" to unlocking Neo according to some other dude? If you know anything else, please share with us! Any help is infinately appreciated.
Sorry. I feel the urge to respond to questions addressed. Maybe he has a valid idea about Neo and the tracekill game! There is simply no way to know.
Back on subject. I don't precisely understand when Ghost turned into Neo on your post, matrixmaster. Maybe some more details would help. Did you have Neo before the lights dimmed?

w00t, yes I am the guy on Gamefaqs and I have stopped posting there until I find out the answer. The majority of the people there are just arrogant and basically stupid. I didn't mean it to get any more intense I was just posting what is actually possible in the game.
Back to the Neo thing, I have seen my mate ONCE this within these last 2 weeks and it's beginning to piss me off. He has started playing Raven Shield and to get him off it is like trying to stop water from being wet.
Just to back up my point of the codes being hardcoded into the game, get the decode message for unlimited ammo etc (I don't have them with me at the minute so I can't post 'em) and it does the same thing:
Neo saying "You have access", with text appearing saying:
Valid code found
Unlimited Ammo Unlocked
I apologise for making it look like I was 'biting' in a sense, just wanted to make it clear. If you're well known on Gamefaqs, I WILL be posting how to do it once I find out...It's been 2 weeks already but as I said, getting my mate to do anything lately is bloody ridiculous.
Ok I agree with darkmage. 'matrixmaster' I think is ur name, PLEASE give us more detailed information on the ghost turning into neo thing... I would like to try it but it sounds wierd and sketchy...Have you done it just once or many times, and plz reply with more detailed info so we can try this.
