After Dark Avengers team, Osborn formed New Dark Avengers... as silly as it sounds.

Gorgon was "Wolverine". And he wasn't exactly as good with claws as he is with swords. Bendis also has the tendency to make all the villains job, but that we all know.

Seriously though, Danny dropped Black Tarantula. Spidey gave him everything he had, and couldn't even slow him down.

While Tomi dropped to one knee from Shang's beating. You can argue how much of an insect Shang really was to Gorgon but there's no denying Spidey hits >>> Shang. Tomi simply never really took the kind of extended beating Carlos has.

- Barton's brother

- Ai Apaec (looks like blacksuit Spidey in this arc)

- Gorgon (brown&tan Wolvie suit + fake claws)

- Superia (as yet another Ms. Marvel)

So no fake Spidey. I remember Venom and Dakan had a lot of funny moments ("Iii'm sooory caan't coontrl mmyself!" "!@#$ YOU! *POW POW*"😉

Venom was kind of a pussy, for a brain eating symbiont.
