Sabers: Luke Skywalker may be powerful but he needed Force harmony from a Leia with many months of training to defeat the Darth Sidious, and he was already only 30 years from his prime. His only other good saber feats are killing thousands of Vong singlehandedly, but he was very tired afterwards, and having Darth Caedus at his mercy, but Caedus was only stated to be stronger than Darth Vader and not Darth Bane. Trainee Bane can easily kill many other Sith trainees with his training blade, and has since had almost twelve hours to adjust to his new lightsaber. Plus Kas'im, who killed a rancor, was very impressed by him.
Force: Luke's weakest category. He was breathing very heavily after moving a black hole, and needed to concentrate to recreate and destroy a fortress that only barely reached higher than the clouds. Plus he needed to remember Yoda's teachings to crush an AT-AT, he won't have that time here. Luke cloaked an 800 meter long capital ship only around 20 years before his prime but he wasn't sure how long he could hold it, and he tricked Caedus, his crew and his ship's sensors into seeing a fleet of star destroyers but Caedus has never seen Revan's holocron. Luke may have resisted Palpatine's lightning but Bane's can make a room very bright. Bane meanwhile has impressed Githany with his power in the Force, moved faster than Sirak who could easily beat many trainees, and when he was just a little stronger could choke Qordis. He only needed a nexus and some charge-up to knock down the foundations of a temple, which was only one order of magnitude smaller than the fortress Luke destroyed. I'm not seeing it for Luke, Bane's power is too great.
All-out: Bane will Force push Luke. Luke may have resisted UnuThul and the combined potential of billions of Killiks, but Bane was stronger than many hundreds of trainees individually. Luke will get knocked on his head. Then, Bane will leap forward and attack him with his lightsaber. Bane's curved hilt will confuse Luke, who hasn't shown much technical knowledge except for teaching himself how to fight with a lightsaber from some scattered notes in a few months, but even then he could only stalemate Darth Vader in a duel. Luke, who struggled to defeat Palpatine, cannot possibly defeat a Bane who was so good that he could toy with Sirak. Luke isn't strong enough. Bane is the incarnate of the power.
