This kind of ignores the fact that all of these characters have had moments where they discover reasons for themselves to continue doing what they do. Even Batman, the most driven by his parents death, genuinely believes in the mission for himself. His parents' death just set him down that road.

I know I'm not exactly 'current' in this, but I just read the trade paperback of 'all-New, All-Different Avengers' where these teenyboppers are all introduced. It was totally heinous, sort of made me hate comic books for a little while afterwards.
Sorry to go off-subject, I really love seeing the awesome art that you post. It's just that this new 'young avengers' stuff makes me feel a bit queasy.

Thx. Well not not all tenny booper heroes suck. Some incarnations truly kick ass when done right. Take Young Justice, Teen Titans, Gen X for example. Problem is when they off established characters like Rider or Banner in favor of Cho and the young Nova it shits on the fans who held tru to the character.
