Prepping kyle for some good ol' fashion tentacle rape.
Priscilla Kitaen (a.k.a. Voodoo) was an exotic dancer with a truly unnatural appeal who discovered the truths of her origins when she was found by the WildC.A.T.S. just in time to rescue her from the alien Daemonites. Both groups had sought her out for her ability to recognize a person under the control of a Daemonite and to excise them as one might a demon. After she joined the team, a number of additional abilities, both psychic and bestial revealed themselves, andin time it was discovered that she was actually a Kherubim/Daemonite hybrid.
Upon discovering that the Daemonite war with the Kherubim had in truth long been over despite continuing on Earth, Voodoo became disaffected with the WildC.A.T.S. and their purpose, going off on her own and returning to her life as a dancer, this time living in New Orleans. There she encountered supernatural threats and deities of the voodoo faith, eventually pursuing the magical tradition herself under the tutelage of a sorcerer named Gran’Mere.
Upon returning to the WildC.A.T.S. she was able to further enhance her abilities, learning from a renegade Daemonite how to better control her transformation and regenerative abilities and discovering that she can enhance her telepathic abilities through sexual encounters.
Following the events of Flashpoint, the DC Universe was relaunched and incorporated in characters previously in the Wildstorm and Vertigo universes. In the case of Voodoo this meant that for the first time in her publication history she received her own ongoing monthly title and appeared in mainstream DC Continuity. However, as was later revealed the early appearances of this new Voodoo was in fact a clone. She was revealed as a strip club dancer that was working undercover to gain military secrets from the loose lips of soldiers from a nearby base before going on a murderous rampage across the southern United States as she sought out her alien masters. After confronting Kyle Rayner she continued on her original mission and infiltrated a government complex where she discovered that she was actually the clone of the real Voodoo.
Voodoo is part human, Kherubim and Daemonite which results in her having unique abilities not seen in either alien race. She has the power of the “Sight” which allows her to see any being or object as it truly is, meaning she is not affected by shape-shifters or any type of illusion. She is also able to separate any being that is possessing a body and she often uses this gift against Daemonites. As a telepath and an empath, Voodoo has the power to feel the emotions of another, to read or even possess a person’s mind and can focus her mental powers into a devastating attack. Due to training with another Daemonite, Voodoo can use more of the traditional powers attributed to that race - she can transform, in whole or in part, revealing Daemonite extremities, resulting in her having claws, super strength, speed. She has the power to regrow lost limbs and heal from wounds faster than a normal human. She has been trained in traditional Voodoo magic and has even been shown to be able to animate the dead. Her first appearance was in WildC.A.T.S. #1 (August, 1992).
