Plus he's personally consorted with a bunch of hyper-secretive Force societies, apprenticed briefly to Palpatine, read Palpatine's works, studied the Telos Holocron, and had that epiphany moment in Crucible thanks to the Rataka tech or whatever.

Who cares? That's not enough to warrant making the top 20, kek. And it's not like manyForce sensitives during the time period was sporting exceptional, esoteric knowledge - Yaddle notwithstanding.
Well yeah most weren't sporting exceptional knowledge, but when you have beings like Yaddle and implications that Dooku is superior to her in knowledge, also getting several holoprojectors as sources of knowledge from Sidious, uncovering/retrieving several holocrons lost to the Rule of Two Sith thanks to Gravid and [likely] teaching Asajj Ventress how to re-animate the dead should warrant some decent knowledge. Not really saying Dooku's in the Top 10, just saying he's damn knowledgable.
