that was against a known murderer and enemy of wolverine. She also knew that deathstrike has a healing factor. This is a fight against a known superhero that has saved the world on more than one occasion and who also has a friendly relationship with the x-men. Two completely different things.

did she get an amp in black vortex? can't recall....anyway, classic kitty, this would likely be a draw. his senses would allow him to know where she was at all times and even when to easily avoid any strike. if she can now phase huge areas at a time, then clearly this is spite--as would be a very many battles she's put into if that is indeed the case.
