Virtually all official art shows Darth Revan wielding a single saber, plus even the cutscene in KotOR 1. Seems a stretch to assume he dual wielded as a Dark Lord based on an illusion in KotOR 2 which more than likely represents the duality of the character rather than anything "factual".
