Hopefully Blomkamp picks it back up after he's done with his Alien film (2017), but this has hit a lot of snags and maybe he doesn't want to stick his fingers in that cookie jar anymore.

Though to do the story justice, it'd be better as a long TV series, on HBO or ideally Netflix.

The Spartan training program would make an incredible hunger games style movie, except more for adults than for kids. So battle royale kind of

There's already been 2 or 3 b-grade movies of Halo done.

I honestly can't see the appeal to make a big budget version.
