Well let's just look at the ground realities:

Scourge has 300 years of combat experience, which is probably more than Luke's foes' experience combined.

Plus he have hype in encyclopedic mediums.

He solos.

lol, Kyp Durron couldn't beat a single slayer, how are these three Jedi who've never faced Force-immune enemies before going to beat a guy who had [a fatigued] NJO Luke at his mercy?

lol no, Lord Nyax was mind-fugging Luke and overtaking Luke + Tahiri + Mara in melee at the same time. That team is collectively nothing next to Vitiate.
