Feminism

I, myself, am not a particularly aggressive feminist, but I found such the grooviest qoute that I *had* to post it...

pheminisits are women who bitch and moan about how hard they have it because of men. they are a stupid bunch.

wouldn't go that far, but for the girls I know who claim they are feminist it's always like:
"oh! you descriminate! ******* ******* ******* *****!!!!"
and then when they have to do stuff we do it's like:
"Hey! I can't do that! I'm a woman not a man!"

but that will change when they grow up, I hope ... in the next 50 years

Feminism is the movement that started in the mid nineteenth century to gain suffrage and equal opportunities. Some women do take it too far, though.

I have nothing wrong with equal rights eg same work - same pay, same promotion oppportunities, but it goes too far the other way, I have to dress smart, a suit, shirt, tie oh and shoes, so why do the women not have to wear a suit and blouse at least, it could be a trouser or skirt suit I don't care, but some of the women I work with wear 3/4 trousers with skanky Tee shirts, or bright flowery shit. what would they say if I came into the office wearing one of my bright surf shirts?

Equal rights should mean EQUAL.

over-active feminism like that is just like afirmative action. It's wrong. I don't think formerly oppressed minorities should get special treatment. It'll never lead to true equality.

Oh and another thing, the feminist think they should not be treated any differently, but as soon as a male does not hold the door open for them to walk ahead they complain about it. I don't see any of these feminist holding the door to allow me to walk through first - although some non-feminist do just so they can blimp at my bottom as I walk past 😄.

I can't help it that I'm like that. My mother has been tellling me that boys should hold the door open for me since I was born! I am a sad product of my environment. *hangs head in shame*

oh and another thing, feminism sucks right! so why don't they?? surely theres something wrong there? I mean I am sure they would he happy for, well you know what, EQUALITY.

But where ARE all these feminists then? Every girl I meet says they are not an over-active feminist, that they think such extremist views are wrong, that they want TRUE equality not special treatment...

I am beginning to suspect they are a myth. We hear a bout a few loonies in the papers and the idea comes along that they are everywhere.
