Mantis is much too fast for Gamora. She sprinted across a field to tackle someone out of the way of a rifle, AFTER it was discharged. And Dr. Strange even cited using one of her skills to track and hit a herald of galactus..

Two problems.

1. At work, on a cell phone.

2. I don't actually have the comic, and Google is failing me (Or maybe my skills just suck). The only thing i keep getting is their mindscape fight..

I "think" it's part of Celestial Quest. I know for a fact is happened someplace, because it cost my boy Danny Rand a match (Chi spam is no good vs someone who can surf on energy).

Moondragon beating Mantis crushed any credibility she once had. Gamora is one of my favorite characters, but she's all over the place feat wise.

Giving this to Mantis

Gamora just recently lost to Bucky. Neither are now anywhere close to their classic levels

There better be a plot reason, otherwise that's much worse then Spiderman vs Firelord, considering Gamora could legitamately fight Firelord..
